Metro Teens

Metro Teens was made up of skits by the students. they are to explore the relationship between parents and teenagers. especially during times of conflicts.
eg: something your parents want you to do but you don't like
something your parennts choose for you but you don't like
high expectations which you can't achieve.

now, my teens are a group of very creative teens.

teens 2A
the girls were the quiet group, briefly, three daughters were ordered by their parents to study instead of playing the computer and they portrayed three different reactions to that. the obedient. the neutral. the rebel.

the boys were the almost 'cheerful' group. and they acted out how the parents chose something which all three 'sons' don't like at all, however, again, they portray three different reactions.

hmm, honestly, they did a good job, but i wasn't able to record their performance and they don't want to anyway.

teens 2B
three groups made up of a majority of boys to two girls.

one acted on a youngest sister being compared to her elder siblings. also, parents were overprotective towards her.

second group acted on a teenage boy who has a relationship with a girl secretly and somehow found out by the father. however, the father made the most ideal reaction to that! meet the girl's father and get to know the other 'family' better.

the third one was, i have to say, the most unexpected performance.
they tried their best, to act out an episode of Heroes. the scene between Hiro and his father when his father wanted him to go back to Japan!! their rationale to choosing this scene? it portrayed on how a father has high expectations towards his son, while the son did not want to do his father's bidding.

i was amazed at how they could relate their very favourite drama to the subject at hand. i'm proud of them. all of them.

here's one video clip. though it's of very poor quality. i hope to improve on this media type for future classes.

now, my dear teens, you can come up with better skits!! there's hidden talents somewhere~~~
